Our Story

Driven by the passion to make mountain biking a more inclusive sport, Shawnee launched Shred Like a Girl in 2021 to carve out space for women and girls everywhere.

In October 2024, Shawnee re-branded from Shred Like a Girl to Unbound Collective to enable the business to grow and become more inclusive within the outdoors space. The brand's mission and focus has remained the same, only with a fresh new look. Check out the Our Story page to read about the journey so far and where we're headed.
