UK MTB EVENTS 2024

At Shred Like a Girl, we had an incredible year of UK mountain bike events throughout 2024. Here's a recap of where we were and what we got up to—whether it was setting up a stall, racing, or just hanging out. We appreciate everyone who joined us along the way! We can't wait to share what events we'll be heading to in 2025 as Unbound Collective!

Stall at Events:

A brand new women's mountain bike festival at Twisted Oaks Bike Park. As a community interest company (CIC), all profits from the event will be used to support women and girls in mountain biking.
Dirt Divas is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to increasing inclusivity in the outdoors. We are a group of mountain bike guides, coaches and riders that believe in the power of the bike to improve mental and physical health and bring people together!
Tweedlove Bike Festival, a free festival set in Peebles in Scotland. You can ride the local trails, demo bikes, spend your money with all the best brands and soak in the family friendly festival vibes with entertainment, street food and a bar.
  • Ard Rock Enduro (26-28 July)
A summer mountain bike festival set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. There's an epic expo, great entertainment and a chance to take part in the notorious Ard Rock Enduro. We have taken the plunge and entered a race, signing up for the Sport Enduro, be great to see you there if you have entered too.
Bringing women together for an inspirational weekend of mountain biking, skills coaching, guided rides, wellbeing and good vibes!

A family friendly festival set in the beautiful Malvern Hills. Amazing entertainment both on and off the bike, opportunities to race, ride, try an airbag or dual slalom and feast your eyes on all the best bike brands. Not to be missed.

With the same great activities and the same great venue! Come and join us for a women’s weekend of mountain biking, meeting new people and trying new things. You can certainly count on a fun-filled weekend, from pushing your limits on the airbag, or having a taster coaching session, to kicking back with a beer and watching the carnage of the dual slalom race unfold. The weekend is for everyone, bring along your families to enjoy a camping weekend (camping included with the tickets) and boys & girls under 8 go free!

      Racing/attending:

A two-day meet up to help create stronger community and connections between women working in or aspiring to work in the bike industry in Scotland. Expect inspiring talks, development sessions, skills work-shops, trail dig sessions, trail therapy, social rides and evening events.

Bike Park Wales has started putting on monthly women’s social rides at the park. It normally includes a free cake and coffee too!

The world’s toughest and most progressive downhill mountain bike race, Red Bull Hardline returns to Wales on 1st – 2nd June 2024, marking its 10th anniversary in the iconic Dyfi Valley.

Red Bull Hardline isn’t for the faint-hearted. Hailed as one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world, the course is designed by MTB track pioneer Dan Atherton and tests both skill and nerve.
